Donations
Much of the technology we use today comes at a cost to our planet. Therefore, Greener Tech has decided to donate $1 to various nonprofit environmental organizations for every purchase you make through most of our posted deals (it will be noted if the deal or coupon qualifies). We can do this because the retailer pays us (just like every coupon site) a small commission for every purchase made through their deals that we post.
So all you have to do is find a great deal on a tech product you want, click on the link to visit the retailer's website and make a purchase. We'll then automatically donate $1 to a couple of great nonprofit environmental organizations that we have selected. These organizations are preapproved by onepercentfortheplanet.org, where we are also a business member.
Just to provide a little more background information about 1% FTP, as a member we are required to donate a minimum of 1% of our revenue to environmental charities. Because of our generous $1 donation though (commissions on tech are fairly small) we actually donate much more than the 1% required. We do this because we believe so much in the importance of helping our planet cope with our modern lifestyle. Last year thanks to our users we donated thousands of dollars to the Amazon Conservation Association, Carbonfund.org, and Eco-Cycle.
